ASEZA HELE NAMED SARU’S WOMEN’S ACHIEVER OF THE YEAR!

Aseza with President of EP Rugby and Liziwe Kaise Women's Rugby Manager The young 25 year old, Aseza Hele was a key figure for the national team. This number 8, with her powerful presence and hard running, always sets the field ablaze. The Kwazakhele born star showed skills that proved valuable in the team’s qualification for the 2021 Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand which led to her obtaining this prestigious award. Well done Aseza! 

Kwaru Rugby Club crowned champions!

Port Elizabeth’s Kwaru Rugby Club were crowned the Women’s club champions in Cape Town on Sunday after defeating Fort Hare 19-7 at Langa Sports Grounds in the fifth edition of the tournament.

There were 9 clubs participating in the tournament, 2 of which hailed from Port Elizabeth. Congratulations to the team for this victory!
